our guide Ryan was incredible!! we took the san Andreas tour 8am in February. the weather was ideal and best to wear light clothes and T shirt. definitely warm enough for little clothes
Ryan shared an abundance of information: the rock formations, the 3 mountain ranges that converge, the texture of the ground, the fauna, potato chip plants and palm berries! we learned about the original inhabitants, their day to day lives, customs, clothing etc. bees that made their "nests" in the rocks, the wealthy man whose home remains in the desert.... too much info to recall!!

San Andreas Fault Tour with Morgan Levine--absolute best tour guide you'll ever have! I've taken this very tour four times, with different guests--all loved it and were amazed by Morgan's knowledge of the Desert, its Native American Tribes, flora fauna, geology, water, animal life and stories!! I've also taken other Red Jeep Tours with Morgan--and she's wonderful in Joshua Tree or other Red Jeep Tours!
The tour was a ton of fun! I loved the combo of some hiking and learning about the land. We did the San Andreas fault tour and our tour guide Craig was super nice and informative. Definitely recommend this!
Christopher was an amazing naturalist. It was just our family of four (2 adults and 2 teens) on his tour and he took the time to take family photos for us, explain so much about the native people, flora, and fauna of the area. He assured us that there were no dumb questions and took the time to thoroughly explain answers to us when we had them. Additionally, being from the north, the extreme heat of the desert in late June is not something we’re used to. Christopher kept us well hydrated and fed with granola bars for the kids. He even noticed when I began to get sunburned and recommended that I take a moment to reapply sunblock. Overall, Christopher is well traveled and very knowledgeable as well as being so easy to talk to. It was a great morning and we appreciate the experience!
Red Jeep tour of the San Andreas fault is not to be missed. Mike was our guide. He was wonderful. He knew everything about anything. Kept all of us engaged.
Dress in layers, bring your phone or a lightweight camera. Leave your bag in your car. There are granola bars and water on the Jeep.
We went off roading in the Jeep with open back and sides. The top will come off eventually. The rocks and hills, walking through the caverns, the oasis of palm trees, ponds and babbling brooks right on the fault, while beyond that was desert. All of it was breathtaking.

We just completed a Red Jeep tour of the San Andreas Fault area. Our guide was Craig....and he was "Chico Suave"....or maybe "Cool Hand Luke" at the wheel! While cheating death through the narrow canyon walls, he also provided awesome narration and stories. He was really awesome!
Though I had thought about taking our own 4wheel drive vehicle out on similar roads to tour the local hills, I am super happy that we chose Desert Adventures for our explorations!

Very interesting tour of our nearby fault line. History of palm trees, plants the Indians used to make tool, baskets, shelter and also used for food. Explanation of our huge aquafer and how it continues to to exist. Travis…our guide was given kudos by his daughter when I made the reservation and we were not disappointed……. kept us laughing the whole time Thank you for a wonderful experience. Billie and her girls
What a great day on the San Andreas Tour! We took good friends for their anniversary and they were very pleased. Our guide, Neil, was an absolute dream! His knowledge of the geology, flora and fauna of the area was super impressive and he was fun!! It really made for a special day for all of us. Thanks!
